Greenfield Recreation Winter Youth Basketball Program 2025!

Program is open to Boys & Girls ages 5-14 years old. Boys teams & Girls teams (if not enough girls register the teams will be COED). *To use your softball credit/basketball credit please register your child at the Community Center.*

Games start January 25 and the season ends on March 15! 

Cost: $60 per player (includes jersey and shorts). $10 Sibling discount available.

WE ARE NOW ACCEPTING GIRLS FOR THE DIVISION 5-7!

 All practices take place at the Softball Field in Patriot Park. Practice times and days are determined by the coaching staff. Games will start mid-March and games will be in South County. All home games will take place on Saturdays at the Softball Field at Greenfield High School. *To use your softball credit/basketball credit please register your child at the Community Center.*

Cost: $65 per child & $10 sibling discount

Divisions: 5-7, 8-10 & 11-14 *The child must be 8 years old by 12/31/2024

Beat The Odds - Annual 2025

Beat The Odds 2025 

This program is ONLY open to 2nd-3rd graders! Girls & Boys are welcome! The program starts Wednesday Jan 15, 2025. The program only meets once a week (Wednesdays).

Beat the Odds (BTO) is an evidence-based and trauma-informed program that integrates the power of contemporary drum circles and group counseling to build core strengths such as focusing and listening, team building, leadership, expressing feelings, managing anger/stress, empathy, and gratitude.

Developing Artistic Identity - Annual 2025

Developing Artistic Identity 2025

This program is open to Girls & Boys! The program only meets once a week (Tuedays and some Wednesdays in April).

In an immersive, multi-day experience, our students learn formal concepts in art, train their eye for real-world observation, and explore still-life and landscape painting. Our social-emotional learning objectives include decreasing self-judgement, expanding frustration tolerance, and developing artistic identity. Throughout, we emphasize the artistic process over the product.

Explorer's Academy - Annual 2025

Explorer's Academy 2025

This program is open to Girls & Boys! The program starts Tuesday Jan 14, 2025. The program meets twice a week (Tuesdays & Wednesdays). 

Students will create nature-themed art after school through painting, drawing, acting, and making music. Students will learn foundational skills in a variety of artistic mediums so they can explore what kind of artist they might become one day, as well as develop an appreciation for nature.
